Repair Team Member

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical interface issues on current Mercedes-Benz models.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs, including work on high-voltage battery systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts following standard methods and quality procedures.
• Utilize documentation systems and computer equipment to record repair activities and quality confirmations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide feedback and implement continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain strict adherence to all safety guidelines and work practices.
• Adapt to changing conditions, including assignment changes and shift schedules.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or relative electronics plus 2 years of experience as a repair technician.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of experience as a certified repair technician with additional electrical technical experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work rotational shifts and required overtime.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school training focused on manufacturing processes and equipment.
• German Meister title or equivalent certification.
