Repair Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical activities in SMT processes and coordinate the technical team.
• Develop and optimize equipment programs for DEK, SPI, Camalot, and Press Fit.
• Analyze and validate stencils, perform SPI debug, and conduct P&P failure analysis.
• Develop reflow profiles and manage the instrumentation of profiling boards.
• Create technical procedures, visual aids, and presentations.
• Perform capacity calculations, determine rates per station, and identify process bottlenecks.
• Document and implement continuous improvement actions and Kaizen events.
• Troubleshoot PCB Assembly process issues and participate in daily production problem-solving.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Experience in SMT, PTH, and Backend processes, including SPI and edge bonding.
• Knowledge of stencil design, reflow profiling, tooling/fixture design, and pallet validation.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards and CPK calculations.
• Proficiency with CAD/Gerber files and MS Office.
• Previous experience supervising and developing technical personnel.
• Experience with production control systems, including serial control, flows, and traceability.
• Availability to work required schedules.
