About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assigned preventative maintenance tasks with manufacturing to minimize machine downtime.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineering team on equipment and equipment upgrade projects.
  • Perform light machining and basic electrical controls repairs.
  • Assemble, debug, and troubleshoot new and current tooling.
  • Order and maintain purchased tooling, replacement tools, and additional capacity.
  • Utilize internal tools to communicate manufacturing issues that cannot be resolved on the production floor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (3rd or 4th cycle).
  • 2-Year or 4-Year Technical Degree in Automotive, Precision, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance or equipment technician.
  • Proficiency in reading prints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
  • Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tool & Die or Electrical Journeyman certification.
  • Knowledge of proximity sensors, servo motors, production cameras, and PLC programming/troubleshooting.
  • Background in basic machinist skills, general die mechanics, bench work, and soldering.
  • Possession of a US Visa.
