Repair Lifing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex gas turbine blades, vanes and additional parts based on real operation data and inspection findings
• Simulate multiple damage mechanisms using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to determine remaining useful life
• Lead interdisciplinary small teams to develop improved designs and update 3D CAD models
• Validate and enhance analysis methodology and design philosophies to generate cost savings
• Determine and manage risks based on statistical models and support customer meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience
• Proficiency in creating CAD models and analyzing FEA models
• Familiarity with fracture mechanics and programming languages
• Project management experience
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
