Renewable Feedstock Trader

Responsibilities

• Execute renewable feedstock purchases, including spot and term transactions
• Monitor feedstock market conditions, basis relationships, spreads, and pricing trends
• Coordinate pricing events, including flat price and basis pricing execution
• Maintain internal position tracking and hedge reporting tools
• Support hedge execution and reconciliation to align physical and financial positions
• Develop strategies and coordinate feedstock logistics via truck and rail
• Interface with suppliers, carriers, plant personnel, and internal commercial teams
• Manage trade confirmations and related commercial documentation
• Track contract performance and resolve invoicing or operational discrepancies
• Assist in developing daily and weekly market summaries and commercial analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commodities, energy, agriculture, logistics, or related commercial activities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of commodity markets, basis pricing, futures markets, and hedging concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or Energy Commerce
• Experience in renewable fuels, biofuels, or agricultural commodities
• Experience in physical trading or logistics coordination
