Renewable Energy Licensed Electrician

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace
• Complete routine safety documentation including tailgate meetings and electrical work permits
• Perform technical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on renewable energy assets
• Execute energization/de-energization and LOTO procedures
• Interpret schematics and blueprints
• Conduct quality assurance checklists and inspections
• Perform daily digital reporting and documentation of all work performed
• Participate in on-call weekend services on a rotating schedule
• Maintain site cleanliness including buildings, vegetation, and roads

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of electrical experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Valid Driver’s License with a suitable driving record
• Ability to lift 34kg (75lb)
• Physical condition to climb wind turbines (300+ feet)
• Computer and digital literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to travel within the designated territory

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with an electrical or mechanical base
• 309A Journeyman license
• ABET/EAC certification
