Renewable Energy Analyst

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential equity investments in various energy asset classes and supply chains to drive both financial return and measurable impact.
• Support the due diligence, underwriting, and closing processes for transactions including partnership flips, lease pass-throughs, and tax-advantaged financial instruments.
• Prepare detailed financial models and assist in crafting investment presentations for internal committee approval.
• Conduct on-site due diligence and meet with management, requiring travel across the United States several days per month.
• Perform portfolio-company monitoring, including quarterly reviews and funding support.
• Collaborate with legislative and compliance teams to capture investment impact and job data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work autonomously.
