About the Company

At Arkana Laboratories, everyone has an important role to fill. We are a private practice comprised of 25 board-certified renal pathologists and two neuropathologists, supported by more than 200 technical and administrative staff. We are dedicated to advancing our understanding of disease and providing world-class care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out renal biopsy cases, including review of clinical history, slides, and EM
• Dictate all components of reports and order appropriate stains or tests
• Participate in daily case review conferences, CPC conferences, and journal clubs
• Communicate professionally with team members, patients, and clients
• Maintain professional conduct in accordance with CLIA and CAP requirements

Requirements

• M.D. or foreign equivalent with successful completion of all USMLE steps
• Completion of a residency in pathology
• At least two years of experience as a practicing pathologist
• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology
• Ability to obtain a medical license in the State of Arkansas
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
