About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support customer and Regional Sales Manager requests by processing parts orders, credit notes, and returns.
  • Identify part alternatives to minimize customer impact during extended delivery lead times or vehicle downtime.
  • Coordinate fulfillment activities with logistics and supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery.
  • Recommend and promote parts, products, and current promotions to identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Handle pricing inquiries, quotations, and technical troubleshooting for order-processing issues.
  • Identify specific parts using technical documentation, catalogs, photographs, and customer descriptions.
  • Assist customers with online account setup, access, and payment concerns.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive information to share with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, parts sales, or customer support.
  • OR a High school diploma/equivalent plus technical training in a related mechanical field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a schedule that ends at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, specifically fluency in Spanish.
  • Additional language skills such as French.
  • Experience supporting customers in a technical, parts, service, or sales environment.
  • Experience with heavy-duty truck, bus, diesel, or commercial vehicle parts.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or Oracle.
