Remote Inspector - Jewelry

Responsibilities

• Inspect jewelry and watch products at pre-production, in-process, and final production stages.
• Evaluate raw materials and finished products against client standards and reference samples.
• Perform visual inspections and measurements to identify defects and workmanship issues.
• Produce draft or final inspection reports in coordination with the inspection coordinator.
• Communicate findings effectively with site contacts and internal coordinators.
• Adhere to all company, client, and safety procedures, including ANSI/ASQ Z14 standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of quality-related experience.
• GIA Graduate Diamonds Degree or GIA Graduate Gemologist Degree (Required).
• Located in the New York City area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of inspection levels, AQLs, and sampling plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in professional inspections.
• Working knowledge of jewelry construction techniques.
