Remediation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor subcontractor daily remediation operations to ensure compliance with RAMS, remediation strategies, and principal contractor standards
• Provide oversight of soil classification, waste management, and soil reuse decisions in accordance with CL:AIRE DoWCoP and project-specific criteria
• Oversee groundwater management activities, including pumping, treatment systems, monitoring, and discharge controls
• Coordinate remediation works with other site operations to prevent clashes and maintain safe working conditions
• Monitor environmental controls such as dust suppression, odour management, noise mitigation, and surface water protection
• Review and sign off subcontractor daily records, including waste transfer notes, stockpile logs, and site diaries
• Maintain full compliance with CDM duties and principal contractor responsibilities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in soils remediation or similar activities within a project context
• Valid CSCS Supervisor certification or equivalent
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Proven experience in subcontractor supervision and site investigation
• Must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status
