About the role
Responsibilities
- Support remediation projects, operations, maintenance, and monitoring of existing remedies
- Manage soil, sediment, soil vapor, and groundwater contamination
- Assist in reducing liabilities and closing sites
- Manage budgets and accruals for environmental liabilities
- Ensure contamination is addressed in accordance with government regulations and best practices
- Develop strategies for investigation or remediation plans and support their implementation
- Communicate strategy and objectives to field teams, site stakeholders, and regulatory stakeholders
- Review technical reports prior to submission to regulatory agencies
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and ensure EH&S programs are in place
Requirements
- Associate's degree or diploma in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in remediation, environmental operations, regulatory, or project management
- Fluency in English
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in remediation, environmental operations, regulatory, or project management
- Familiarity with North American regulatory frameworks
- Experience communicating sensitive technical information
