About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support remediation projects, operations, maintenance, and monitoring of existing remedies
  • Manage soil, sediment, soil vapor, and groundwater contamination
  • Assist in reducing liabilities and closing sites
  • Manage budgets and accruals for environmental liabilities
  • Ensure contamination is addressed in accordance with government regulations and best practices
  • Develop strategies for investigation or remediation plans and support their implementation
  • Communicate strategy and objectives to field teams, site stakeholders, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Review technical reports prior to submission to regulatory agencies
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and ensure EH&S programs are in place

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or diploma in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in remediation, environmental operations, regulatory, or project management
  • Fluency in English
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in remediation, environmental operations, regulatory, or project management
  • Familiarity with North American regulatory frameworks
  • Experience communicating sensitive technical information
