Remarketing Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Minimize net credit losses by managing repossession inventory and maximizing auction sale proceeds
• Ensure timely follow up on repossessions activities to minimize days to sale
• Communicate effectively with dealers, auctions, and customers via phone and email
• Perform data entry and maintain organized documentation throughout the remarketing process
• Review condition reports, historical sale data, and NADA information to determine sale prices
• Execute title processes and follow-up to ensure timely liquidation of repossessions
• Create and ensure regulatory required notices are sent within policy timelines
• Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting around remarketing processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of experience in auto finance or installment loans, specifically managing auction processes
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field may be used as a proxy for experience
• Experience with customer correspondence and high attention to detail
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace
• Ability to master web-based loan servicing systems (LoanPro experience is a plus)
