Remanufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and clean turbomachinery and components using manual and automated methods
• Utilize hand tools, oxygen/acetylene torches, overhead cranes, and pneumatic/hydraulic tools
• Operate abrasive media cabinets, wheel blasting machines, and industrial tank cleaners
• Perform daily pre-use checks and light maintenance on tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with OHS policies
• Contribute to risk assessments and participate in continuous improvement workshops
• Report hazards, near misses, and incidents to support a strong safety culture

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of turbochargers
• Background in engines or similar mechanical systems
• Prior experience in remanufacturing operations
