About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist visitors, staff, and contractors to ensure smooth site access
- Conduct regular indoor and outdoor patrols focusing on security and health and safety
- React swiftly to emergencies, site evacuations, and security threats
- Maintain logs, incident reports, and ensure site security compliance
- Monitor surveillance and conduct staff searches if required
- Perform smooth team handovers between shifts
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence or ability to attend a 5-day SIA course in Barrow
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Born British citizen or held a British passport for a minimum of 5 years
- 5-year checkable work history
- Ability to obtain SC clearance and DBS check
- Physically fit for significant walking
