Relief Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to sites
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems
• Carry out internal and external security patrols
• Control traffic flow and enforce parking restrictions
• Perform routine checks and testing of security equipment
• Manage keys and undertake locking/unlocking duties
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records
• Issue visitor and contractor passes
• Support health and safety by reporting hazards and unsafe practices

Requirements

• Valid DS SIA Licence
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
• Full flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• Legal right to work in the UK with 5 years verifiable history
• Aged 18 or over
• No current criminal convictions
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong customer-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Officer
• Recognised First Aid qualification
