Relief Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality veterinary care and support to dedicated clinic teams
• Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate veterinary terminology
• Perform diagnostic procedures including lab work and radiology
• Handle controlled medications with precision and pharmacology knowledge
• Collaborate closely with DVMs and veterinary staff to ensure exceptional patient care
• Provide clear and compassionate discharge instructions and communication to pet owners

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant
• Proficiency in performing lab work and radiology
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication handling
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and solve problems proactively
• Recommended to carry independent liability insurance (as this is an independent contractor role)
