Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely fill prescriptions in accordance with established workflows and SOPs
• Provide patient counselling on new therapies to ensure understanding and confidence
• Support adherence monitoring and ongoing medication consultations
• Maintain and update patient profiles in compliance with privacy legislation and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards set by NAPRA and the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
• Provide relief coverage for scheduled absences, peak volumes, or short-notice needs

Requirements

• Part A licensed pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Kroll and pharmacy-related IT systems
• High attention to accuracy in prescription preparation, labelling, and documentation
• Availability for 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday evenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mail-order or high-volume environments
• Weekend availability
