Relief Operator

Responsibilities

• Provide relief duty for assigned work areas, including coverage for breaks, lunch, and absences
• Ensure the quality and appearance of dairy products
• Assist with machine operation, including the operation, cleanup, and teardown of equipment such as pumps, valves, and tanks
• Operate CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-out-of-Place) systems
• Maintain chemical strength logs and appropriately handle cleaning chemicals
• Follow all food safety policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions
• Proficiency in using computers
• Physical stamina to perform continuous walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in environments with temperatures exceeding 90°F as well as cold temperatures
• Strong organizational, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills
• Flexibility to work all hours and days as required
