Reliability Technician II

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with Markem-Imaje coders, PCs, and development tools to construct and validate embedded software systems
• Read, understand, and execute test protocols for industrial marking and coding equipment
• Document test results, experimental conditions, and feedback in electronic logs and reports
• Read prints and schematics to build and test electromechanical components, assemblies, and prototypes
• Set up data acquisition equipment and instrumentation to conduct testing on subsystems and systems
• Maintain lab equipment, including environmental chambers and various instrumentation

Requirements

• Minimum Associates Degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in the Electrical-Mechanical domain
• 5–10 years of experience on an engineering team or in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with instrumentation and at least one data acquisition system
• Strong electro-mechanical technician skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience reworking PCBs or cables, including soldering or crimping wires

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-A-620 Certification
• 3D mechanical CAD experience and simple mechanical machining skills
• Programming experience with PLCs, motor drives, or other production line systems
• Experience with HALT and Environmental Chamber testing
