Reliability Operations Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor reliability test systems and environmental chambers
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and calibration on ovens and equipment
• Support burn-in operations, including board setup, troubleshooting, and basic repair
• Collect and compile test data for analysis and reporting
• Perform manual and automated reliability testing, including device loading and unloading
• Use microscopes and basic lab tools for inspection and testing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized 6S work environment
• Work closely with other shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on daily goals

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics, electrical technology, mechatronics, mechanical technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on technical experience)
• 1-3 years of relevant technician, lab, manufacturing, or test experience
• Basic understanding of electronics, mechanical systems, or test equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and document work clearly
• Ability to work in an ESD-safe environment and follow strict safety procedures
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to reliability testing, environmental stress testing, or lab operations
• Experience with soldering and de-soldering electronic components
• Familiarity with C-SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscopy) or ultrasound-based inspection
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or quality-driven environment
