Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve objectives
• Allocate top-level reliability quantitative requirements to design teams and perform reliability predictions
• Perform failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and formulate mathematical models to identify safety risks
• Develop, administer, and maintain a Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) database
• Participate in recurring Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide technical support to various Weapons programs including SDB, JDAM, and Missile systems
• Review engineering specifications and drawings to propose design modifications that improve reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with RM&SH engineering principles, including requirements, predictions, and performance
• Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)
• Experience performing failure analysis
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Saint Charles, MO

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Systems Engineering
• Experience using the Systems Engineering V model for product implementation
• Experience with Systems Engineering requirements and verification
• 2+ years of experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and reliability testing activities
• Ability to lead by influence outside of formal reporting relationships
