About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the application and integration of Reliability Work Processes across maintenance, engineering, and operations disciplines
- Own and manage the 3-year Reliability Improvement Plan and 5-year asset strategy to drive long-term site performance
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Reliability Program utilizing RCM, equipment criticality assessments, PM/PdM strategies, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Analyze plant performance data and reliability metrics to recommend actionable improvements and address operational challenges
- Ensure reliability principles are embedded in capital projects and influence design and execution decisions
- Serve as the mechanical integrity champion to ensure assets are maintained safely and effectively
- Champion the use of the Management of Change (MOC) process for all equipment and process modifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- 8+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within a chemical manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to drive change and influence outcomes
- Experience with relevant industry codes and standards such as NFPA-NEC, API, or ASME
- Proven track record of project management and leading cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation
