About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of Customer Reliability Engineers to ensure fulfillment of customer contracts and services
  • Collaborate with commercial, sales, and marketing teams to meet reliability program goals and identify new product opportunities
  • Participate in regular stakeholder meetings to evaluate program performance and productivity
  • Manage personnel functions including selection, training, evaluation, coaching, and counseling
  • Plan and deploy departmental budgets, manage expense forecasting, and mitigate negative variances
  • Review financial statements and performance data to identify areas for cost reduction or program improvement
  • Support field organizations by developing training materials, technical papers, and product support
  • Partner with the ServiceMax team to enhance reliability management software

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in plant process systems and equipment operation or design
  • Strong supervisory experience with direct reports
  • Solid multi-project management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Must live within commuting distance of Port Arthur or be willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving change and achieving results
  • Experience working in a diverse environment and managing multiple sites
