Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive cell-package interactions and module-level reliability
• Schedule and execute reliability tests on tandem mini-modules and full modules
• Perform failure analysis on tandem modules
• Design non-standard accelerated stress protocols to reproduce field failures
• Coordinate third-party testing with external labs
• Collaborate with Product Management on lifetime modeling
• Communicate findings to Materials R&D, Process Engineering, and Product Development teams

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in PV module reliability
• Experience in R&D, third-party validation, and certification
• Ability to diagnose failure mechanisms and provide data-driven insights
• Experience working with external testing labs
• Solid understanding of PV cell and module device physics
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as JMP
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with more than one PV cell type
• Experience developing non-standard accelerated testing protocols
• Familiarity with reliability engineering tools like FMEA, 8D, RCA, or DFR
• Experience sourcing reliability test equipment
