Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in the New Product Development team regarding test methods, product requirements, and reliability.
• Develop Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements through collaboration with Product Management and User Needs research.
• Design experimental techniques and new test procedures to evaluate product performance against user requirements.
• Perform data analysis, post-processing, and visualization of test data using statistical techniques.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventative actions following product failures.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure robust manufacturing, supplier quality, and test lab correlation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and knowledge of statistical applications (e.g., Design of Experiments, regression, hypothesis testing).
• Experience with or a strong desire to learn data acquisition systems and related software (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, Dewesoft).
• Understanding of manufacturing quality and root cause analysis (RCA, FRACAS).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic and international assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in product development, reliability, test, or quality roles.
• Experience with life data analysis and reliability distributions using software such as Minitab or Reliasoft Weibull++.
