About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive asset reliability and maintenance strategy optimization by developing and implementing site-wide reliability improvement plans.
  • Conduct equipment criticality screening and risk analysis to prioritize critical assets and Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment.
  • Develop Equipment Maintenance Strategies (EMS) and support the execution of the 3-year Reliability Improvement Plan.
  • Partner with the PPM Coordinator to optimize Preventive Maintenance programs and eliminate low-value activities.
  • Evaluate and implement condition monitoring technologies and predictive maintenance tools.
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies using Weibull analysis and FMEA.
  • Provide reliability and maintenance input for capital projects, including equipment selection and design reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze asset reliability metrics, including maintenance history, RCA outcomes, and production loss data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience as a maintenance, reliability, or project engineer within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving reliability initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NFPA-NEC and NETA.
  • Experience with equipment condition monitoring techniques, including infrared thermography, oil analysis, and motor circuit analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).
