About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threats
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major failures to prevent recurrence
- Analyze data from various sources to recommend and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvements
- Support the engineering, design, specification, and execution of projects to maximize reliability and operability
- Review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating procedures
- Conduct Reliability Assessments of facilities and equipment
- Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous reliability improvements
- Assist in identifying critical spares and creating Bills of Materials for essential assets
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment including compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to interpret and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and machinery drawings
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard software packages
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 20-25%
