About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threats
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major failures to prevent recurrence
  • Analyze data from various sources to recommend and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvements
  • Support the engineering, design, specification, and execution of projects to maximize reliability and operability
  • Review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating procedures
  • Conduct Reliability Assessments of facilities and equipment
  • Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous reliability improvements
  • Assist in identifying critical spares and creating Bills of Materials for essential assets

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment including compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to interpret and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and machinery drawings
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard software packages
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 20-25%
