Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive equipment reliability initiatives by partnering across maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
• Own and improve reliability metrics including uptime, MTBF, and MTTR
• Analyze data to identify trends and issues to optimize maintenance strategies
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and reliability risk assessments
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Apply and drive Lean Production System principles to eliminate waste and enhance operational processes
• Support capital projects, design reviews, and Management of Change (MOC) processes
• Resolve high-impact equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience, OR 12+ years of directly related experience
• Proven experience in equipment reliability within a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in RCA, FMEA, and CMMS systems
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and process controls
• Foundational understanding of Lean Production System principles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
