About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive equipment reliability initiatives by partnering across maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
- Own and improve reliability metrics including uptime, MTBF, and MTTR
- Analyze data to identify trends and issues to optimize maintenance strategies
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and reliability risk assessments
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Apply and drive Lean Production System principles to eliminate waste and enhance operational processes
- Support capital projects, design reviews, and Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Resolve high-impact equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience, OR 12+ years of directly related experience
- Proven experience in equipment reliability within a manufacturing environment
- Expertise in RCA, FMEA, and CMMS systems
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and process controls
- Foundational understanding of Lean Production System principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
