Reliability Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test plans for new product development and sustaining engineering activities
• Perform product validation and verification using off-the-shelf and custom testing equipment
• Manage ODM/OEM partners and third-party labs to complete testing tasks
• Design, build, and automate custom test rigs and fixtures
• Deliver validation status and results to cross-functional teams
• Perform preliminary root cause and failure analysis to drive resolutions
• Utilize statistical tools to compile results and estimate field failure rates
• Standardize test documentation including procedures, schematics, and software
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain lab equipment

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in systematic product testing
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred)
• Proficiency in 3D Modeling (Solidworks) and reading mechanical drawings
• National Instruments LabVIEW certification (CLAD) or demonstrated automation experience
• Statistical Analysis skills using Python, R, or Minitab
• Automation skills in LabVIEW or PLC programming
• Fluency in Chinese and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Windchill PLM
