About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in New Product Development regarding test methods, product requirements, and reliability.
  • Develop Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements through collaboration with Product Management and User Needs research.
  • Design experimental techniques and new test procedures to evaluate product performance against user requirements.
  • Perform data analysis, post-processing, and visualization of test data using statistical techniques.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure robust manufacturing, supplier quality, and test lab correlation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in product development, reliability, testing, or quality roles.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with expertise in statistical applications such as DOE, FMEA, regression, and hypothesis testing.
  • Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems and software such as Python, nCode, Dewesoft, or LabVIEW.
  • Experience with life data analysis, reliability distributions, and statistical software like Minitab or Reliasoft Weibull++.
  • Proven experience in root cause analysis (RCA, FRACAS) and issue management.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic and international assignments.
