Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair automated and non-automated systems to ensure high equipment availability
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on automation, robotics, and control panels
• Diagnose and address issues in out-of-service equipment and escalate complex issues
• Record all work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure projects meet specifications
• Participate in predictive maintenance and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement
• Provide training and mentorship to Junior Engineers
• Adhere to food safety and health & safety standards

Requirements

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs including programming and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in continuous production environments
• Skills in material handling, flow, and capacity visualization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for technical automation issues
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field (advantageous)
• Independent right to work in the UK
