Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair automated and non-automated systems to ensure maximum equipment availability
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on automation, robotics, and control panels
• Diagnose and address issues in out-of-service equipment and escalate complex technical problems
• Record all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure engineering projects meet required specifications
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive continuous improvement and machine uptime
• Provide training and mentorship to Junior Engineers on reliability practices
• Adhere to all food safety, health, and safety standards

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in continuous production environments
• Extensive experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, including programming and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities regarding technical automation systems
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Independent right to work in the UK
