Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership in reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, and asset management.
• Support technology development and implementation to enhance the reliability and performance of lubes assets in the China market.
• Drive the development and execution of equipment strategies and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead advanced reliability investigations using techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis and Root-Cause Failure Analysis.
• Engineer and optimize annual maintenance plans to ensure peak equipment performance.
• Provide expert technical support and strategic guidance for both new and existing installations.
• Mentor and develop the capabilities of less experienced reliability engineers within the technical discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Reliability, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in refinery, petrochemical, or upstream oil and gas facilities.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting large engineering data sets to make competitive recommendations.
• Experience with Maintenance Management Systems, specifically SAP.
• Experience supporting major Turnarounds or Shutdowns is highly valued.
• Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
