About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide reliability support to Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream assets globally from the Bangalore Technical Center
- Perform criticality assessments and develop equipment strategies using RCM and fleet-based approaches
- Execute data analysis techniques including reliability modeling, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Tree Analysis, and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
- Conduct Single Point of Failure studies, Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), and RAM analysis
- Work with project engineering teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
- Define, design, and monitor annual maintenance plans and optimize preventive maintenance tasks
- Develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures affecting capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance
- Analyze asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and remaining useful life
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Reliability Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing sector (preferably Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Energy, or similar)
- Proven experience in the Oil and Gas or Energy sector
- Proficiency in using statistical and probability methods and tools
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of reliability engineering concepts such as lifecycle asset management and risk management
- Hands-on experience with RCM/Criticality Assessment, RAM, and equipment strategies
- Experience with Bad Actor identification and Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA)
