Release Train Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage product delivery using Agile frameworks, specifically facilitating ART events such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
• Facilitate agile events including stand-ups, sprint/PI planning, reviews, retrospectives, demos, and backlog refinement
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategy and execution
• Identify, escalate, and manage risks and dependencies across the Agile Release Train (ART)
• Optimize the flow of value through the ART using tools like Program Kanban and other information radiators
• Coach Scrum Masters and teams to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity and delivery acceleration
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive Lean-Agile transformation within the organization

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• 12-16 years of professional experience in relevant fields
• Strong expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Proven experience with Agile project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align
• Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or a similar professional certification
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and people management skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evening or night shifts, based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or within a Clinical domain
• Deep understanding of DevOps and Test Automation processes in software delivery
• Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar certification
• Experience in workshop facilitation and professional training
