Relationship Manager, Pac Rim Division

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a portfolio of commercial clients with strong connections to Pacific Rim markets.
• Structure complex lending solutions and secure credit approvals by working with internal stakeholders.
• Drive business development by contacting prospects and cross-selling Bank products, including credit, trust/investment, and cash management.
• Manage key client relationships and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
• Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive positioning to optimize client solutions.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Identify "share of wallet" opportunities and leverage analysis tools to grow a portfolio that exceeds ROE thresholds.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate banking environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong credit knowledge, skills, and expertise in credit risk assessment.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial analysis.
• Proven track record in sales and managing complex commercial deals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Pacific Rim clients and understanding cross-border business needs and cultural nuances.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese.
• Strong existing network of Centers of Influence (COI).
