Relationship Manager - Fuel Services

Responsibilities

• Drive growth through strategic business development and senior-level relationship management within the retail fuel and convenience industry.
• Lead the structuring and execution of complex transactions, including acquisition financing, recapitalizations, asset-based lending (ABL), and equipment finance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to large and mid-sized operators, providing tailored financial solutions and strategic problem-solving.
• Manage and grow sophisticated client portfolios to increase cross-sell penetration, share-of-wallet, and overall profitability.
• Partner with internal credit, risk, and product teams to evolve integrated solutions that align with client needs and the Bank's risk framework.
• Represent the Bank at industry forums and conferences to stay informed on market, regulatory, and competitive trends.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Relationship Management, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Investment Banking.
• Proven expertise in the retail fuel and convenience industry, including understanding of industry operating models and capital needs.
• Demonstrated capability in executing complex financings such as ABL, syndications, and working capital solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong credit qualification or the ability to partner effectively with risk teams to manage institutional standards.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial and strategic concepts to senior executives.
