Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Analyze investor requests received in Japanese to ensure accurate understanding and timely follow-up
• Gather and assess product information to draft thoughtful responses to investor inquiries in both written and verbal formats
• Collaborate with senior client service members and product specialists to co-develop responses to complex inquiries in English
• Partner with Business Development and Investment teams to ensure deadlines are met and information provided to Japanese investors is accurate
• Support central initiatives including firmwide investor events, marketing material creation, and translation tasks
• Assist the RFP team in preparing responses to Japanese client due diligence questionnaires and RFPs/RFIs
• Focus on private credit products, including CLOs, bank loans, and direct lending

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in investor relations or a client service role within financial services
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, CAIA, or CMA is preferred
• Strong understanding of credit strategies and private credit products
• Native-level Japanese and fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• High attention to detail and a process-focused approach to managing workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Salesforce, MSD, or other CRM tools
