About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME owners, founders, and finance managers to drive financing opportunities.
- Leverage professional networks and strategic partnerships to generate new business and referrals.
- Conduct consultative needs assessments to recommend appropriate lending solutions based on client growth objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and qualification to application, negotiation, and funding.
- Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure efficient deal processing and timely documentation collection.
- Monitor client satisfaction and maintain ongoing relationships to identify repeat business and strengthen loyalty.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and pipeline activity within the CRM.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in relationship management, business development, or financial services (SME banking, fintech, or lending).
- Proven track record of achieving revenue, funding, or portfolio growth targets.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to deal closure.
- Strong understanding of SME financing products, lending processes, and business financial fundamentals.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Established network within the local SME ecosystem.
