Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders
• Support homestay hosts, natural parents, and students in interpreting cultural practices and differences
• Plan and deliver in-person training to hosts and orientations for new students
• Build and maintain a supportive local community of host families
• Respond to crisis situations in a prompt and caring manner
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with schools and partners
• Assume custodianship for local students under the age of 18 as required
• Travel within the Red Deer region and surrounding areas for intake and school meetings

Requirements

• At least two years of homestay or related work experience
• One-year Community College Certificate or Diploma
• Full and valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with 2 million auto insurance liability
• Ability to pass Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management

Preferred Qualifications

• International experience, including hosting students or traveling abroad
• Ability to speak a second language
• Experience with public speaking and event planning
