About the role
Responsibilities
- Strengthen and deepen relationships with institutional clients to drive organic growth and protect existing revenue.
- Manage assigned client portfolios to identify new business and product opportunities.
- Partner with Sales counterparts to convey client needs and outline engagement strategies to increase share of wallet.
- Prepare detailed account plans, business overviews, and performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Lead coordination across virtual cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, product, and finance.
- Serve as a primary escalation point for critical service issues and shepherd them through to resolution.
- Manage the negotiation and execution of client contracts and ensure high satisfaction during onboarding.
- Act as the interface for compliance, regulatory, and reputational matters between clients and the firm.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; an advanced or graduate degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of total professional work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Sales, or Client Service within the Financial Services industry.
- Specific experience covering the insurance segment.
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings with diverse stakeholders, from operational contacts to executive leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex value propositions.

- Proven track record of developing junior talent and providing professional mentorship.
- Deep understanding of client business challenges and strategic directions within the institutional space.
