Relationship Executive - Life Sciences Banking - Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain profitable relationships within the Life Sciences sector by providing financial advice and comprehensive commercial banking solutions.
• Acquire new business and deepen existing client relationships by delivering the full suite of firm solutions, including credit and payments.
• Build a strong market brand as a leading provider for the innovation economy.
• Leverage referral networks to identify and engage diverse founders and innovative companies.
• Manage credit, operational, and reputational risk appropriately while maintaining a customer-centric mindset.
• Stay current with industry trends to identify strategic partnership and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience in commercial banking or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Excellent sales management and business development skills.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to partner with senior business leaders.
• FINRA Series 79, 63, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses required (or must be obtained within 180 days of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training.
• Experience working within the startup ecosystem or innovation economy.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a national, collaborative team.
