Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Sell a full range of banking services and products to individual customers and small businesses
• Interview and assess customer needs to suggest appropriate products or services
• Conduct outside sales calling and business development efforts
• Maintain an organized system for tracking customer needs and monthly production goals
• Provide customer referrals to Treasury Management, Commercial, and Consumer Lending
• Complete required account documentation according to bank guidelines
• Maintain current knowledge of banking rules and regulations

Requirements

• Outgoing and professional attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience selling financial products and growing a customer base
• Proficiency in Windows environments and basic internet skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• Two to four years of related experience or training
• Previous production generation experience
