Reinvest Workforce Navigator

Responsibilities

• Lead outreach, engagement, and enrollment efforts through community events and partner referrals to meet program goals
• Complete participant intake, needs assessments, and individualized service plans
• Manage an ongoing caseload of participants, providing consistent follow-up, advocacy, and barrier removal
• Provide job development services including resume assistance, interview preparation, and employer engagement
• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and workforce partners to create employment pathways
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly workshops focused on life skills, wellness, and workforce readiness
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry in Salesforce or other required databases to ensure audit-ready documentation
• Ensure all duties are performed in strict compliance with CalCRG grant requirements

Requirements

• Experience in career coaching, including resume/cover letter development and interview preparation
• Experience with motivational interviewing or similar counseling techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom
• Strong database management skills and experience with accurate data entry
• Understanding of systemic barriers to employment faced by underserved or justice-involved populations
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and restorative justice practices
