Reinforcement Learning Research/Engineering Internship

Responsibilities

• Develop autonomous robot control technology based on the EXAONE AI foundation model
• Develop robot control and physical environment interaction models using reinforcement learning
• Develop experimental infrastructure, evaluation systems, and service technologies for robot learning and control
• Research simulation environments and data generation technologies for robot learning
• Research reinforcement learning techniques for VLA model robot control learning
• Research Sim-to-Real transfer and safe exploration techniques for simulation-trained models
• Develop platforms for experiment management, result visualization, and demo services for robot control models

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program in a related field
• Experience with related field projects
• Proficiency in reinforcement learning and robot simulators
• Ability to start working immediately (from July)
• Preference for those who can work for 6 months or longer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building simulation environments and applying them to real-world robots
• Strong programming skills and experience in robot environment development engineering
• Authors of papers published in top-tier conferences in related fields
