Rehabilitation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage daily department operations, including staff recruitment, selection, orientation, and performance management
• Oversee the overall patient experience to ensure high standards of care and positive outcomes
• Monitor the professional regulatory climate and implement process improvements to address changes
• Participate in the operating budget process and manage department PTO and timecard approvals
• Maintain and monitor patient cancellation reports, establishing target goals and action plans
• Lead monthly department meetings and coordinate with inter-hospital departments for physical plant management
• Plan, implement, and review performance improvement (PI) initiatives and program adjustments
• Develop and enhance physician and internal/external referral relationships to promote department growth
• Provide discipline-specific patient care as needed

Requirements

• Clinical degree in a therapy-related field
• Current Illinois state licensure to practice in the designated field
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Superior communication and customer service skills
