Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads of clients with physical and psychological conditions
• Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
• Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health teams
• Work across various schemes including workers compensation, life insurance, and Comcare
• Conduct initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis and support treatment plans
• Identify suitable employment opportunities for workers following injury

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with AHPRA
• Current NSW Driver’s License
• Access to own car with comprehensive insurance
• Strong communication and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry
