Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions to support return to health and work outcomes.
• Manage a caseload of clients, utilizing Rehabilitation Assistants to help alleviate administrative tasks.
• Apply clinical knowledge to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health providers.
• Conduct various clinical assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.
• Work across multiple schemes including workers compensation, Comcare, and Department of Veteran's Affairs.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current NSW Driver’s License.
• Access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the Occupational Rehabilitation industry.
