Rehab Tech/Admin Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff with patient care under direct clinical supervision.
• Communicate promptly to therapists regarding any observed changes in patient status or distress.
• Manage and operate equipment safely, including cleaning and maintaining equipment logs.
• Perform clerical duties such as scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling patient visits.
• Handle administrative tasks including obtaining patient consents, updating demographic/insurance information, and collecting co-payments.
• Manage clinic inventory and process billing information or fax documentation to insurance companies.
• Follow all infection control policies, standard precautions, and documentation procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual skills.
